Inquire, or subject to analysis.
A leader gains insight by asking questions, and can also learn by questioning their own ideas. Question assumptions, question status quo, question any time someone says “we already tried that”. Question if we can try in a different way…maybe we know more now. The obvious answer may be the best one, but how will we know if we don’t challenge our thinking? Easy to say, requires strength to do every day.
Same principles apply at home. Familiarity can often be comforting, when cooking meals or handling daily tasks. Questioning can be helpful though to solve an issue, to integrate new traditions, and find ways to accomplish more than we thought we had space or time to manage. Let other people in. Ask them to help. Do things differently. It may be scary … and it just might work. I wish you a blessing for health today.
