Having a serious, important, or useful quality or purpose, making our lives richer.
Taking time at the end of a day of meaningful conversations about people, culture, and the purpose of the work we do, I appreciate the moon, the sky, and the peace. Leadership requires conversations and actions, and also time to reflect. Easy to say, requires strength to do every day.
Same principles apply at home. My neighbour is caring for his father who is ill. We spoke yesterday and I listened deeply. I didn’t say much, just listened and heard him, and cared. He wasn’t looking for advice. He needed to share his feelings and his love for his father. I provided a safe and open space for that meaningful conversation to happen.
