The capacity to affect or change someone or something in an indirect but usually important way. Positive influence within a team can drive results that are greater than individual contributions. Easy to say, requires strength to do every day.
Same principles apply at home. My son reminded me this week that it was easier for him to smile for photos as a young boy when I made him laugh instead of just having him pose and asking him to smile.
